Buyback FAQ - Varsity Books

 

1. Bring your new or gently used textbook back to the store during regular business hours.

2. The best times to sell your books are during final exams and before leaving town for the holidays and or summer.

3. The Varsity Associate will scan your materials for any buyback $$$.

4. Buybacks are based on several factors:

      A.  Is this book changing editions next semester?

      B.  Is this book being adopted (used) the next semester?

      C.  Has Varsity already purchased enough of this particular book for the next semester?  

      D.  What is the current wholesale market for this book?

      E.  What is the condition of the books being brought in to sell?  Are they wet, damaged and over highlighted?

      F.  Did the book come as a bundle with an access code?  If so, then this will reduce the buyback price of the book.

      G.  The associate will then give you cash back for your book(s).
